The parade and activities are held in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard with a turnout of over 15,000 people; and is known to be the biggest parade outside of Oslo. This year's Grand Marshall is Norway's top song vocalist Hanne Krough; and has appeared with many Scandinavian pop artists at the Oslo Pride 2007 Festival. (You Tube video under Hanne Krough/Johannes Brun). Further event details and itinerary information can be found at

Both Syttende Gay events will promise to make you feel like you've taken a holiday to Scandinavia, with the impact and fun of Pride.
