Jonathan took to the Rockies for this wedding and reception. The location at Estes Park in northern Colorado is known as a base for the Rocky Mountain National Park. A great inspiration and backdrop for this couples ceremony and celebration.

Girls just want to have fun! Team Kwanchai has created a design concept for this special event with sweet surprises. We love transforming spaces with custom created elements, this Candyland theme was delightfully delicious. We love discovering unique venues rich in history.

This 40th birthday event took place at 1927 events space in downtown Seattle. Our client came to us with a vision of Twin Peaks, Burning Man with a touch of Steampunk and we got creative! The venue has the historic Seattle architecture, industrial lines and exposed brick which gave us an authentic backdrop for our design concept. We searched for unique and authentic antique and vintage architectural elements, furnishings and accessories. For the caterer, we selected a food truck with a New Orleans style menu, from po' boys to beignets. Then there is the entertainment! Where do we start? The line-up, aerialist, fire dancer, magician and a rock band. Oh, What a Night!

For one special night, KWANCHAI transformed an empty downtown Seattle storefront into a flirtatiously fun exclusive 50th birthday affair. Sparkling cocktail tables, seductive lighting and rich pewter curtain walls enveloped guests for the evening. Guests were treated to specialty cocktails and asian inspired cuisine to compliment the theme for the night. The evening started with a Dj and ended with pole dancers, need I say more?

KWANCHAI designed a masculine Hollywood Regency inspired 40th birthday celebration Four Seasons in Seattle. From initial concept and invitation design to sourcing sparkling decor and glamorous furnishings, KWANCHAI coordinated every detail of the dazzling evening to ensure a seamless night of revelry for the honorary guest and guests.

Happy Happy Birthday! We had a beautiful backdrop for this client's event and we were there to help this caterer create a modern food presentation to highlight each item in this extensive menu. Kwanchai always enjoys to be invited to the party.

Can you keep a secret, we can! This surprise party was held at the unique space,The Stables, a fully restored historic rental venue in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. Originally used by The Meadows Racetrack in the very early 1900's. We love teaming up with new vendors and designing creative themes for our special events around town. The FEZ food truck was one of our first calls, creating a variety of tasty skewers. To wash them down, a selection of inspired cocktails by our bartenders that got the crowd warmed up for the entertainment. Who doesn't enjoy a good burlesque?!

A showcase of holiday cheer featuring dramatic exterior snowflake lighting and interior festive decor carried the Sparkle and Delight theme through the entire home. Signature cocktails kicked off the night and were accompanied by a menu of winter comfort - fondues, pretzel sliders, mashed potato bar and individual bite size dessert treats.

A joining of two households required the merging of holiday decor and traditions in this home. Combining the stylistic desires of both clients, KWANCHAI spread Christmas cheer with twinkling lights, fresh boughs, custom wreaths and a spectacular trio of themed Christmas trees.

This private fundraiser event channeled the rich urban vibes of the Buddha Bar in a modern northwest summer setting. With delicious treats served in an exotic Asian market style ambience, guests lounged and danced the night away under a canopy of twinkling lights, breezy sheers and twirling parasols.

A 40th birthday party with a disco beat. The client wanted a 70's themed event to celebrate with family and friends who dressed for this special occasiion, from bell bottoms and wide collars to Saturday Night Fever and sequins. Guests were inspired to boogie all night long!

This private event was insprired by the television show 'Mad Men' and held at the art studios of Steve Jenson. Inspired by the late 60's theme and art gallery, Jonathan created custom vases and floral arrangements for tablescapes. We were also happy to be teamed up with the food truck, restaurant and caterer 'Skillet'. One last detail, a Dj mixing music from the era.This event definetly combined all of our favorite things.

This summertime Obama-Biden Campaign Fundraiser, "The Battle for Marriage Equality from California to Washington and Beyond", featured guest speaker, Chris Dusseault, one of the trial attorneys who tried the case challenging the constitutionality of Prop 8 in California federal district court. KWANCHAI's event design and execution provided a vitalized ambience for guests to enjoy the insightful evening.

Game. Set. Match. Amidst Kwanchai private event presentation service and floral arrangements, the client and her guests enjoyed a relaxed tennis luncheon catered by Maxwell Meals.

This summer engagement luncheon combined family and tradition with honor and celebration. We were inspired by the signature wedding color of yellow and the family china, simply elegant. The chef created a menu using the freshest of local ingrediants from land to sea.

Glitz and Glam for this baby shower! With a lounge in this private home, we created a space with all of our clients favorite things. Decor with sparkle and lux fabrics and a menu with tasty treats to satisfy this client's cravings. This 'Made to Crave' menu included pairings of Lumpia with Pancit and Friend Chicken with Waffles. Girls just want to have fun!

An evening of dinner and dancing rounded out this festive summer birthday bash. Guests partook in swing dance lessons and lychee saketinis on the waterfront.

Accentuated by authentic Mexican food and smooth Latin grooves, guests reveled under the starry night sky while enjoying the ambience of spectacularly transformed spaces.

KWANCHAI provided this busy couple the ultimate takeout service for their very casual dinner party. Once the clients' desired restaurant, guest count and dietary restrictions were determined, KWANCHAI developed the menu, provided the dining and barware, arranged food pickup and presentation, and - most importantly - whisked away everything at the end of the night. A successfully relaxed evening!

Kwanchai created an auction item for one of our favorite non-profits, Rise n Shine, helping children whose lives have been affected by HIV or AIDS. We created a themed dinner party for 8 at the auction winner's private home. Our designed evening started with a Saketini pear cocktail, then guests were treated to a 5 course dinner by a private sushi chef. "Kanpai!".
